Subject Test Scores

Hi, I’m currently filling out my application to apply RD this year (way ahead of things).

I was wondering, if I took 3 subject tests but didn’t get fantastic scores on them, do I still have to send them in? I know they’re strongly recommended. I got a 620 on Spanish (no listening), 660 on US History, and 730 on Literature. I did not have a great day when taking the subject tests (very sick, prom later that day, other excuses I could add in). I can’t retake them anytime before the application is due. If optional, are these worth submitting? They’re not the worst but I don’t think they reflect my academic standards well.

I should note that I received 5s on the AP tests for Spanish Language, US History, and English Language/Composition. I’m making sure to put these in my resume and anywhere else I can submit them as they’re a much better reflection of the work I put into those subjects.

Thanks in advance!

Yes. Georgetown is the only college in the US that requires you to send in all Subject Test scores.

You have no choice.

You could always plan to take them later in the event your application is deferred.

Alright, thank you very much
