Subject Tests that important?

So I want to apply to the UC schools (UCLA, USC, Berkeley) which require at least 2 subject tests; however, I've taken them once and received a 760 US and 640 Math II. Will the low score for the Math II affect my chances greatly?

I am top 20 of my class of 620+ and have a 31 on the ACT (35 English/33 math, with pretty solid EC's and essays. I'm worried about the Math II score and am debating whether I should even apply to the UC schools (UCLA, Berkeley, USC).

PS: I won't be able to retake the Subject Tests due to deadlines approaching

Please note that USC is not a UC. It is a private university not affiliated with the UC system or the state of California.

USC recommends that you submit two SAT subject tests, but does not require them. Your scores are fine, but if you prefer not to submit them, you do not have to in order to be considered for admission to USC.

If you plan to appy to USC, please be sure you use the USC application - you will not find USC on the UC application.
Good luck.

Are you a California Resident? If you are then your rank (top 4% of your class) makes you a strong candidate – although there’s no assurance of acceptance to UCLA or UC Berkeley, both selective schools for California residents. But other campuses such as UC Davis, UCSD are reaches.

If you are applying out of state then both UCLA and UC Berkeley are very selective.

Another note: USC accepts the December test dates for their December 1st Scholarship application deadline, and the UCs accept December test dates for their November 30th deadline.
