Subject Year Requirements?

Say colleges give the requirement of a subject. Say for example 3 years history.
If you double up one year say:
10th: World History, 11th: US, Econ, 12th: none

Does it still count as three years? Or must you take history each year? This is assuming there are no more history/social sciences offered at my school..

it does. However im not sure if econ is a history credit.

I took AP U.S and AP Euro in the same year and it counted as 2 years.

Econ is a history credit at my school.

It should count as three years because it is based on the class, not the year that you took it.

FYI - any time a college refers to "years" they generally are looking for years in terms of credit, not time.
