Submit ACT, SAT, or both to Penn?

Here are my scores for each test:

ACT: 36 English, 33 Math, 36 Reading, 35 Science (35 Composite) - 8 essay (whoops)

SAT: 720 Math, 750 Critical Reading, 720 Writing (10 essay)
SAT II: 800 Math2, 750 Literature

I originally thought I was just going to submit my ACT w/ Writing, but after seeing my ACT essay score I’m thinking I should submit both. My ACT’s definitely better than my SAT overall, but I did slightly better on the SAT essay and I did well on the SAT IIs. Should I just go ahead and submit everything to Penn?

they're not really going to care that you got an 8 on the essay, but you should submit both anyway...it will help you, it won't hurt you. I got a 2300 SAT and a 32 ACT and I'm submitting both, even though my SAT is a lot better

ya submit both :)

do both......................

alright, thanks for the advice. i'm going to send in both

I know a 32 on ACT is definitely not the most glowing score within the Penn applicant pool, but considering that the ECs/rec.s/essays weigh a lot as well, is it enough to even put someone into the "pool"?

(btw, JyankeesSS2: I'm not putting down your score, I'm just asking because I got a 32 as well)

a 32 is well in the ACT range for upenn, which i believe (off the top of my head) is 30-34

Yeah, the range is either 30-34 or 31-34...a 32 will be no means write you off
