I got a recommendation from my choir director, which I was planning to use as a supplementary letter. Today, though, I realized that I didn't get copies of the letter sealed in school envelopes with his signature across the back flap. All I have is a copy of his letter in my email (he sent it to me and said I could use it for any school). I don't even have any school envelopes with me at home, though.

Would it be bad to send in the letters anyway in just regular envelopes with no signature on the envelope anywhere? His digital signature is on the letter itself, obviously, but nowhere else. I'm planning to send this letter to most of the Ivies as well as Rice, Stanford, Vanderbilt and Tufts.
