Okay I need serious input. I was really really upset about the AP U.S. history exam grade I just received. I got a 3. I was predicted to get a 5 by my teacher because I got a 97 on the midterm, and I ended APUSH with a 93 average. I thought I’d at least get a 4. Is rescore worth it do you think? Let me know.
Also can someone explain to me hero the rescore process works? Do they readd up my total scores from the other sections that aren’t multiple choice? I’m just really confused with the whole process. Like when would I even get the new score or the news that my score is the same, back? Is the college board even open during the summer?
*how the rescore
They take your total from the non-MC part, add it to the rescored MC part to get a new raw number (if there is a change). If the new raw number falls into a different bucket, higher or lower, your score will change; if it’s in the same bucket, your score will not.
Yes.
Two friends and myself all took AP U.S. Gov this year. We’re all political junkies, so the test wasn’t tough at all. Honestly, I couldn’t think of a single thing I missed. Same with the others. I was 100% confident, and for some reason, all three of us got a 4. Is this just coincidence? Could CB have lost one part of our tests? It just seems weird that we all got a 4 when it was our most confident subject ever.
@Thewookie i also got a mediocre score on the apwh test, my teacher said that she was totally expecting me to get at least a 4 i got an A in the class and it is known to be one of the most rigorous classes at my school
no. if you got a 4, it’s EXTREMELY unlikely anything was lost.
Well it was worth a try to ask anyway haha.
I guess I’ll just take my 4 and move on with life lol.
Thanks.
If I got a 3 on APUSH, is there a chance something was lost or miscalculated? I had an A average the entire year so a 3 is a shock to me.
@Elsaliz From what I’ve seen and heard about APUSH this year, many were not expecting their scores. The exam was very easy compared to previous years and therefore everyone felt like they did good. If everyone does good then it just lessens the curve. I don’t know how well you did. But unless a phone call and $10 is out of your reach, I don’t see why not see if you actually scored a 4 or 5.
I got a 2 on APUSH and Chem. For APUSH and chem I honesty think I didn’t think I didn’t do that bad. I sent a rescore just to be sure because my grades were fairly decent in the guess.
*I guess. Sorry.
good luck w. rescore @goboy7089
Hi guys. I took the AP EURO test and i got a 2. I thouhght i would get a 3. I dont think i did that badly to deserve a 2. I did really well during the year in the class getting A’s. I read the whole princeton book prior to the test and i thought i knew almost everything. Should i get my 2 rescored?
Oh, and can you pay cash for the rescore?
@APboy I just filled out the rescore form today, and the only options are check/money order or pay by card.
BTW Has anyone who requested a rescore for World heard back about anything?
Rescore was unsuccessful (which I was expecting bc it’s a scantron) however, I still have not received my FRQ packet which is supposed to come before the rescore. I’m hopeful they lost it or they failed to combine the two sections!
@HeyDinero When did you request for a rescore, I requested for one on July 13th and still did not receive a rescore…
Anyone know how to request the FRQ packet?
