Sudden Grade Drop!?!

I am really concerned right now and can barely focus on anything. I am in 10th grade and I am taking AP Biology this year. First quarter I received an A after getting around mid 80s on tests and getting 100s on almost every quiz/lab. This quarter, everything has taken a turn for the worst and the concerning part is that I don't know why!! So far I have received 80-85 on everything I have turned in or taken this quarter. There are only 4-5 weeks left until quarter 2 ends. I am really afraid of dropping from an A to a B-. I'm losing motivation fast and I'm even more scared because I've been reading posts about people who have done fantastic until mid-sophomore year when their grades start to tank and stay low for the rest of high school. I work very hard and I am putting in the same amount of effort this quarter. I just don't know what is going wrong. Please help!!

Thanks

First, relax and take a deep breath.
Second, you need to figure out what the problem is before you can figure out how to solve it. Go through your tests, homework, etc., and figure out what you are getting wrong. See if you can set up an appointment with your bio teacher to go over the tests together and figure out what is causing you trouble.
Likely, the problem is that investing the same amount of time as you have in the past is just not enough as classes get harder. You need to make adjustments in the time and effort you put in, as well as the way you study. The good thing is that you can take control of this now. If you make adjustments now before it starts to really hurt you for the rest of high school, you can set yourself up for success; someone else’s sophomore-and-beyond struggles need not become your prophecy.

Well said @nanotechnology
