Who's going? Just got ticket, flight, hotel, car, restaurant reservations! :)

^^^I have to know where you’re going to eat bearcats. I know you are quite the gourmand.

New Orleans has very good restaurants, but none that I would classify as worldclass.

The top restaurant back in the day was the Grill Room at the Windsor Court Hotel, arguably the best hotel in New Orleans. Bayona and Galatoire were also quite good, although I hear the latter has declined in recent years.

Unfortunately, I will not be able to fly to the Big Easy to watch the game, but roughly 70 alums are getting together in Dubai to watch it live…at 5:30 AM our time!!! Now that’s what I call dedication.

Educate me on how Michigan got selected over Boise State?.. I thought BCS was obligated to take a non-AQ team if finished in top 10.

Alabama beats LSU and they’re national champs when they lost to LSU during the regular season? I’d call that a draw.

New Orleans is a very fun city with great food.

Alexandre has Michelin *** tastes.

Bah! You go to enjoy the local po boys, ettoufees, beignets and chicory coffee…mmmmm

UCB- They have to take a non-AQ team if that team is in the top 16 AND wins their conference, which Boise did not. And we still would have been selected over Va Tech. That’s why some people thought we would play TCU, however they didn’t end up jumping into the top 16.

Nothing fancy, planning to go to the New Orlean-sy places…po boy, gumbo, crawfish etc… Just going to spend Jan 2-4 there after going to the Rose Bowl on NYD.
