Hello-
Although all my teachers have indicated that I have an excellent chance in gaining admissions into UCF fall term 2012, I am still very concerned that I may not get accepted and for this reason I am soliciting any suggestions that anyone may supply me and others in order to maximize my chances for admission.
I am an entering senior, with a true GPA of 3.57 SAT score of 1940 and ACT composite score of 30.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated ! THANKS !!!

You’re in, no need to worry. I’d only be worried if you had a low ACT score, which you don’t. Trust me, you’ll get in

into UCF fall term 2012, rathe,r I am specifically soliciting suggestion for both myself and others on this board that will improve our chances for admission such as;

Apply as early as possible! But that’s usually for those of us (me, lol) who don’t have strong stats. I’d say shoot for September, depending on when your guidance office can give you your transcript. Also, TRY and get a recommendation from your GC. The essay has been the same every year for a handful of years. You’re given four questions, and you pick two to answer. You can find it on google, if you type in 'ucf essay prompts. If there has ever been a situation you faced that ever caused your grades to plumet, like me, then I suggest writing about a ‘bump in the road’ which is the first option. Allow your personality to shine through in the essays, and have a handful of people critique it:) hope I helped!
