Dear readers,
I am an Indian citizen and i'm planning to do my undergrad in the US.
My SAT score: Not yet received (expecting above 2050)
HS GPA : 3.6-3.75
ECs are moderate...
Now, I really wanna get admitted into any legitimately ranked college in engineering field...

Could you suggest some universities that are high ranked but not that competitive?

Can u tell me some safe-match-reach universities?
Please I need to finalise the list as fast as possible
Financial aid will be icing on the cake (consider that I am an international student)
P.S: I want to major in Mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering....

there’s a lot more work you can do to make your list. you could look at the accredited Aero and MechE programs here:

you can decide which areas of America you don’t want to live in for four years.

you can tell us if you can come here without any FA. Very few schools in the US give aid to int’l students. Most of those are the best schools, and your GPA won’t be high enough for these schools. There are others, yes, but first tell us whether your family will be able to afford the costs of attendance at a large public flagship like UIlinois or Penn State.

and you can write us back when that SAT score comes in. without that, your GPA is not much help at engineering schools.
