I scored very low on my SAT especially with the Critical Reading section. When I took the test, I answered every single question and missed a lot. For the Critical Reading section, I don’t think that I’d be able to raise my score that much because I am naturally dumb. As an English learner, my vocabulary is very small and stuff.
Anyone has any tips or suggestions on how to do well on the test?(For the Math and Writing). How about the essay? What if I don’t like the topic of the essay? How much should I omit?
Do not randomly guess if you don’t have a clue (exception: math grid-ins only if you’re out of time). Vocab will be tough, but you might be able to get good payoff by memorizing Greek and Latin roots that are common in English words.
For writing, if you don’t like the essay topic, your best solution is to just deal with it.
For math (I’m more of a math person), there are some strategies that might be helpful but most of it is knowing the material and not making silly mistakes. You might want to be more specific with your question here.
