Summer 2012 Transfer Decisions

I’m general admission only as well - just want to settle in before I start with my program.

Anyway, still no word…and even though I am extremely patient, UW is somewhat insensitive and cruel for deciding this close to the start of the quarter.

just got the big envelope!!! pretty awesome. Now I need to figure out how to register with my pre reqs

you too?! Congrats!

but as each person receives their letter…I get more and more pessimistic  why would some receive their letter but not others?

Just received the Big envelope! :)

Talked to admissions today. They said they’re still working on applications and will be done BY next week.

My unofficial transcript loaded! I guess this means I’m in; can’t wait for my letter to arrive!

Congrats bird.

And I guess my agony is over too, as my transcript loaded just now.

It was nerve wrecking, gotta admit. :)

haha nice!!! told you you would get in lol

Thanks for the optimism - it helped during the waiting process :). Did you register for the orientation?

hmm not yet but im hoping to do so on moonday

I still havent heard yet and my transcript hasnt loaded. Does this mean I was denied admission?

As far as I know, they are still working on the applications. Did you notice any changes in your online account? Is your application message changed to - that they’ve reviewed your app., or does it still state that the’re reviewing and that they will inform you upon decision? I would still keep my fingers crossed. If you haven’t yet, you should prob. hear by the end of this week. I wish you all the best luck.

And CollegeQuestions, I was surprised that they are not requiring us to attend the orientation, and that we’re allowed to register as soon as the $272 payment and vaccination is cleared.

No my application status has been the same since I applied it says

“Please make sure your email address is valid and check this site occasionally for information concerning your application. This message will not change unless additional information is required or until a final admission decision is made.”

Those are the last two sentences. My transcript hasnt loaded either I’m feeling a bit scared

On my front page it says:

“We have received undergraduate admission application(s) for one or more UW campuses and/or programs below”

When I click to view the application I get the same message as darwizzl:

“Thank you for applying for admission to the Seattle campus of the University of Washington for autumn quarter 2012. We will inform you by postal mail when a decision is made on your application. If further information is needed, we will contact you via the email address listed below. Please make sure your email address is valid and check this site occasionally for information concerning your application. This message will not change unless additional information is required or until a final admission decision is made.”

Mine has said the same thing since I applied in January. No where on my myUW page does it say tht it has been or is being reviewed. So many mixed results among everyone in this forum -.-

Hey i was in the exact same boat as you two above, and my transcript just loaded. I’m applied as a freshman with 21 credits, 4.0 GPA , in state community college

Could not be more confused. Received a rejection letter a couple days ago, then recieve an email from financial aid today and my transcript loads as a sophomore political science major showing up with all my credentials…? Is this standard or should I double check my rejection?

This is the strangest thing I have read on this forum…
Did you receive a rejection from the UW or maybe a competitive major you applied for?

It was from UW. But all is well I received a gold envelope yesterday and a call from admissions saying they don’t know how the first letter was sent but it was a mistake. Officially a Husky!

Congratulations! Wow, what a nerve wrecking mistake on their part. But after all, better than if it was the other way around :)
