Hey guys! So, I'm a sophomore and I really want to do something this summer. So far, I've signed up for the leadership institute at Brown. Also, I'm applying to be a camp counselor and attend a leadership summit in my city. However, I really want to attend a summer program for science/math since I plan on majoring in those fields. The only thing close to me is the disease detective camp at the CDC. I can go anywhere as long as it's under $4,000. Do you guys have any suggestions? I know it's sort of late :/
Also, do you guys know of any programs that offer college credit? Thanks!

Heytherejanae, you’re probably a smart person if you applied to Brown’s program. Smart people don’t wait for someone to respond on a forum by bumping threads; they use resources like Google, this forum’s search function, eyes, and a school counselor.

Your question is very broad–the answer is that there are many programs that fit the criteria of science/math, <$4000, for current sophomore, and offers college credit.

Read some recent threads here, use Google. That is all I ever did.

thanks for replying, but I have already used those resources and I’ve decided to look for an internship at an engineering firm in my city.
