Summer as a rising Senior. I've already planned to take a college course. What else?

I’m going to be taking a college course 3 days a week at a community college. It starts at ends at 10:00 a.m. 6 weeks, so my whole summer basically

But what do I do AFTER 10 a.m.?

 1. Should I find a place to volunteer at?

I love volunteering and giving to charity. I know it sounds strange but a key reason why I want to become successful is because I want to donate.

I want to go into either the medical field or that of English. I was thinking of volunteering at a hospital, but I heard that volunteers don’t get to do much and it doesn’t even look good for apps.

I also really care about animals, but I’m not sure if I should find a volunteering job involving them at this point because it’s not consistent with what I have been volunteering for. Also, since I’m under 18 they probably will greatly limit what I can do.

Or volunteering at a blind center? I did an internship for people with special needs last summer so this is consistent.

Should I try to find a job? (harder because of the economy)

Tutor people for money?

Thanks
