Summer Course in Academic History

If I took a summer course in the summer between 9th and 10th, should I put this couse in 9th grade 3rd term? or 10th grade 3rd term?

bump bump bump

It makes sense to put it as “9th-3rd,” but it will work either way.

Thank you!

If they are getting our transcripts, what is the point of this section?

I can’t find some of my report cards from freshman and soph. year, so when I don’t really know fore sure what I got in the class, I just put down B.

Is it to see if we are honest?

If your transcript and self-reported grades do not match, it is likely you will be rejected. If the errors are not noticed initially and you are accepted, **your admission would likely be rescinded **when the discrepancies are discovered.

If you have already submitted your application, obtain a current transcript on Monday and FAX it in with a clear explanation of which grades were entered incorrectly.

Yikes.

No, I have not submitted yet.

So, even if I downgrade myself (like say I really got an A on my transcript, but I put down B on the self reporting), I’ll get rejected? (lowest grades I’ve ever gotten was a B, so I don’t have to worry about having a C or two sprinkled in there)

I don’t know if my school will let me see my transcript, but maybe my GC can show me what grades I’ve gotten over the years.

Thank you.

It is common practice (VERY common) for high schools to provide seniors with unofficial transcripts to complete their applications. All you have to do is walk into the registrar’s office and request one. The first is typically free, and there is sometimes a small charge ($1 to $5) for additional copies. Students are always allowed to see their own records.

Yes, your application must match your transcript.

All right, I will have to stop in and see my counselor on Monday. I have completed most of app, just need to edit the essays and I should be good to go.

Thank you.
