So I'm a junior and I was wonder what I could do over the summer. I'm currently planning on life guarding for around 30 hours or so a week, along with swimming ( pretty good, top twenty D1 in my ohio for my event) around 14-16 hours a week. I really enjoy math and comp sci, so maybe something to do with that. Any ideas to make my apps more attractive?

Most if not all summer program deadlines have passed. You still have time to contact individual professors at a local university for an internship spot (you have to do it really soon though!). Otherwise, you could always take classes at a local CC or volunteer somewhere meaningful. Just do anything worthwhile and not waste your time or worry about how it will look on your app.

Honestly I’m not sure what the summer programs would entail, but that doesn’t matter now I guess haha. I’ll have to consider classes though. I might try and do some programming myself/with friends

You could take a couple of MOOCs. My kid did and listed them on her application (in the “additional information” section, since they weren’t for credit). But she did finish the classes and get the certificates you could earn so she could say she did that.
