Summer in the Circle

Maybe a long shot, but is anyone else going? I'm visiting on July 9th.

And for those of you who aren't going, is there anything you suggest I do on a summer visit to get a better feel of the campus? Like many others, most things sound great about Case, but I'm a little worried about the overall environment (seems like a number of students dislike the school). Advice?

Just for future reference for those who are thinking about visiting schools. I don’t want to be mean and you have to do what you have to do with vacations and scheduling and all that, but I don’t think visiting schools when most students AREN’T around are all that helpful. If you have to visit when you’re not in school, try to go maybe during your spring break, or in August (or other times you’re off and colleges aren’t).

Try finding a group on Facebook something like “At Case during the summer of 2010” or something like that, see if you can meet up with some students because the kinds of friends you can (or can’t) make will make or break your experience in college. You could try setting up a meeting with a faculty member as well since most won’t have classes to teach.

Thanks for the advice! I agree with everything you said. Unfortunately, this date works best for me, as I don’t have time during the school year. :(

Maybe try to sit in on part of a summer class, and then see if you can grab a student or two to talk to after. Just make sure you email the professor ahead of time, in case of location or time change.

hey! im most likely going! i have work in the morning so i might not go because i dont know if i can join in late
