Hi everyone. So, I will be attending the University of Southern California in the fall but am trying to get a much needed summer job. USC's move in day is August 20th and I also will be going down to LA for a week the beginning of July for my orientation (my sister also has a softball tournament so that's why we're staying a week). I'm worried that no one is going to want to hire me because I'll basically only be able to work for about eight weeks with the early start date of school and my orientation. Has anyone else run into this problem? I have an interview next Tuesday for a cashier position at Shell and am not sure what I should tell them about this situation. Any tips? Thanks a lot!

Tbh just don’t tell them and then say you have to resign for school. I’m sure most employers understand that education is important?
