Do I still have time to apply for them? Where should I look for them besides jobs.berkeley.edu?

Thanks!

Summer Job or Summer Internship?

Something like working as a babysitter or star bucks coffee?

Craigslist!

Prefer summer internship but summer job will be great as well. Paid or volunteer, doesn’t matter.

Not looking to babysit, work in a restaurant, complete errands, etc.

I’m bioengineering but interested in business/econ so looking for something interesting and potentially useful in those fields (ie. marketing/finances, lab work, teaching/tutoring a class, research assistant)

Thanks!

In terms of business opportunities, many such as banking and consulting have already passed. I would look for something in Bio-E like a research position as the current internships available aren’t really worth your time.

I 2nd Craigslist…

Alright thanks, I’ll check craigslist out. I’m wondering when I should begin applying for internships/research/jobs in the fields I’m interested in next summer? Or this coming fall?

(ie. should I begin looking around February for summer and around July for fall stuff?)

For summer internships, you look during the beginning of the spring semester (before the summer)…

For full-time jobs, you look at the beginning of the fall semester (of senior year)

When should I start looking for part-time fall/spring jobs during the school year? As early as the semester before? (I don’t have work study or loans unfortunately)

It is never too early to apply. Start networking now.
