Hi everyone!

I'm looking for summer law programs that I could get involved in, specifically for undergrad students. I've searched a few, but I kno there are more out there and I definitely want to apply. Anyone know anything?

What constitutes a “summer law program?”

What I was going for was like a residential “introduction to law” type institute for undergraduate students interested in law. It could offer anything from tips on applying to law school, mock law school classes, meeting with law professors, etc.

I’m not looking for summer law school entry, because I’m still an undergraduate.

An example would be the CLEO Summer Institute that is offered to students who’ve completed their undergraduate careers. But I’m obviously not eligible for this one

I honestly hadn’t ever heard of such a thing before. I can’t really see it being all that beneficial. If you want to see what law is like, spend a summer working at a firm. I’m sure there are lawyers around that could use a temporary intern. I did that in undergrad and it turned into post-graduate employment. Many DA/PD programs also take undergrad interns, which may be a good route. If you want tips on applying to law school, that’s what this board and others like it are for. I think your instinct to try it out before you head into it is good, I just think there are better ways to get at the information you’re looking for.
