summer prep for classes?

Hey guys. I'm currently a freshman but about to be a sophomore in August. I'm thinking ahead to my classes next year and have a question: how can I prepare for these classes?

AP Stats
AP Psych
Chemistry

I'm also taking Honors English, H. Al.II Trig, and H. US 10 (pushed for AP Euro, no-go) but I'm not worried about those classes. People in Chemistry say about 10% of the people in the classes have A's, and I'm no good at science (not a high achieving CC'er in that category). The others are AP classes (though considered easy, I know; I'd like to be prepared nonetheless.

thanks!

Stats: No need to pre-prepare, it’s extremely easy. Same with Psych. However, if you really want to either go over the required textbooks or get Cliffs for Stats and Barron’s for Psych.
No need to prepare for Chemistry, although if you’re not good at science maybe you could google “chemistry help” - there are millions of chemistry outlines / practice problems on the internet.

Edit: How the ---- are you taking AP Stats before finishing Algebra 2?? That’s impossible, isn’t it?
Anyway, if you don’t have a strong math background then I definitely do suggest reading Cliffs and/or the textbook.

AP Psych is very very simple. You can read the Barrons book a few times and you’re set.
You should prepare for Chem. It’s not as easy as some people say. Especially with your school considering only about 10% gets A’s. I would prepare by just learning the basics; you’ll learn the rest in school. I would do this by watching videos on youtube (khanacademy).

And yeah…how are you doing AP Stat without even finishing Alg 2? o.O

Thanks for the advice!
I took algebra I in 7th grade because my scores indicated that I belonged there. The next step would have been geometry, but there was no way for me to get to the high school to take that in 8th grade, so I kinda self studied algebra ii with the help of my algebra I teacher (she knows everything about al ii as well. She even made chapter tests and everything) and I ended up with a 95. So I know the stuff, just have to take the class as a formality. When I asked my math team coach (who teaches al ii) if I could take some sort of end of year exam to skip the class, she said no but put me in stats.

o_O your school didn’t even offer geometry?? that sucks.

yeah. actually, they instituted a geometry class the year after me. DX coulda had BC Cal on my apps, but no… I mean, I’ve won 1st at local math tournaments in the algebra 2 categories… oh, well, life goes that way.
