Summer Programs: Too late?

I'm a Junior who crapped up and missed the MITES deadline. Are there any other summer programs in any field that are still accepting applications?

LEAD if you are interested in business: http://www.leadnational.org/ it's due Feb 25th
(it cost money, but if you ask for financial help they give it to you...I went for free)

but don't do summer programs just because you think it'll look good for college...do them b/c they interest you, or you'll be miserable (as i was this past summer). as long as you have a productive summer you'll be fine!! look for a job, intership, travel, volunteer, do some sort of project or research, etc. (and don't forget to relax!)

yeah seriously there's nothing wrong with earning some $$ with a job

What are your college & career goals? See if there is a summer program at a college you wish to attend after high school. The summer between junior and senior year is the perfect time to explore a college campus. Almost every college in the country has some kind of summer program for 11th graders, so go for it! Or, as others suggest, go find a summer job, volunteer, internship or research opportrunity.
