Perhaps it is based on when we submitted them.

Calm down. I have a nagging suspicion that @EdwinTubble is playing a ■■■■■ here since none of you have received any update yet.

Could you post the email you received? @EdwinTubble

Mine says admission decision pending. AHHHH I JUST WANT TO KNOW

Here:

@EdwinTubble sorry you didn’t get in! Did you apply anywhere else?

@emywemy610 It’s alright, I made a point to not invest too much emotion in this decision, seeing as how competitive it is. To answer your question: No, but I have an Intern position at the Georgia Tech Research Institute that is open for me. Good luck to everyone else.

Still waiting, and my last name starts with S…maybe rejections are being sent first??? Maybe??? (Heheh wishful thinking)

Ughhhhhh I’ve been constantly refreshing my email, this page, and the decision page in the past two hours, even during class… but nothing so far. Last year, the acceptances were sent first (as is the custom of many other programs like SIMR), so I don’t really know what to think right now… I also received the rejection letter at about 5pm EST last year.

I just find it bizarre that @edwintubble apparently received a rejection so early…maybe it’s just in the order that they received decisions? It makes sense to stagger it, I guess…

Maybe it’s just randomized and they input the decisions one by one. I guess it doesn’t really surprise me if they do that manually instead of computerized… What’s funny is that i received my rejection letter last year same time as others, so that’s what made me curious.

Btw for next year’s people this is happening on Wed April 9th, 2:44 pm.

I’ve been refreshing, too. Hopefully it’s not too much longer.

Yep, I’ve also been refreshing. I’m gonna go to work soon so I have to wait until I get home to obsessively check. UGH.

soooo nervous

I feel like the universe is mocking me because I’ve been having the worst week in my life thus far. Everything is going a complete opposite way from where I want it to…

if i dead in the battle of SSP, please point to my dead body and tell the 20er or 21er : hero this guy is. he had tried and had dead, he had came and left

@Nobody426, bad week here as well. I hate bad weeks.

I had my wisdom teeth pulled and was sore all weekend, kinda recovered by tuesday, and then got 2 rejections from other summer programs on tuesday…

:( I feel you. SIMR? I applied for that… And I don’t even know when MITES’ decisions are coming out. I just had a failed Calculus test that everyone else scored really well on. I don’t even know what to do anymore… Plus ACTs this weekend. That’d be the death of me.

I just really wish that I can at least have a peaceful mind so that I can get productive and do other stuff instead of obsessively checking everything.

So far April has been great, but this decision will make or break it.
