I just got an email saying my ALO would like to interview me. He also is going to give me a tour of an F-15 and the base if I want to. Of course I do!!!

that drummin guy...when did you apply? How strong was your application?

drumin guy, you're the one from OK right? Hear anything from USAFA yet? Hey, guess what. I got in!

Woop woop! Congratulations!!!

Hey drumin guy I've got an interview too with my ALO coming up in the next few days. It's a little bit less of an interesting setting than yours, my house not a F-15 base, lucky :).

Penquinz, when did you apply? And how did you recieve word, Email or Snailmail?

I applied on January 3rd and I've received no reply. I hate the suspense.

Nope, I'm from New Orleans. I applied Jan 4th I think. resume was nothing special (ill post it, except for my statement of desire. dont want anyone stealing it haha). BUT, I'm trying hard to keep my parents out of it and they actually don't even know I want to go to USAFA so it's going to be hard to get a ride 40 mins to the base without involving them and there is a ALO at my school I might have to take it with which means no tour. I don't know why they didn't assign him as my alo?

What were your standardized test scores?

Well, the only ones I had at the time were my PSAT scores which sucked. I didn't take it serious though because I was only planning on taking the ACT, never knew it counted for anything, and honestly just wanted to miss some classes lol. But 58 in math, 55 in reading, and 48 in writing skills (I don't know what happened on that one haha)

TDG,

That's the equivalent of a 24 on the ACT and you still got an interview; I have a 29 and I don't have an interview hahaha. It's defintely about the whole person concept.

I don't think I'm in a very competitive area either though.

Lucky... I live in one of the most densely populated districts in the country.
