Summer's here . . . what's your summer homework?

Do you guys have homework/projects over the summer?

I do. Kinda sucks, but its not that bad.

IB English - 2 books, 1 is really complicated, notes
IB History - 1 book with notes, 1 article with notes for socratic seminar
1 book my school makes everyone read

What about you?`

Everyone is required to read 1 book and write a reaction paper or something like it.
AP Bio readings and assignments.
Math assignments.

Not required but it’s for self study:
AP Micro
AP Stat

APUSH-2 papers and 5? chapters and questions
AP Bio-5 chapters; 5 summaries on articles; worksheets
Pre-Calc-118 problems

Not terrible :)

English 3- Read a book that portrays the “American Dream” and be ready to discuss it
AP Chemistry- WebAssign problems… loads of them. Basically we are being “reteached” the info, but it’s only avaliable starting July 5th and we only have like a month to do it… but right now they provided links to flashcards and such so that’s what I’m studying.

^ If you have a choice about the whole American dream thing, read the Great Gatsby. It is absolutely amazing. Plus, it’s a quick read.

I have 6 books for Eng., some problems out of the book for calc, and a packet for physics that I lost. I should be doing something about that…

AP English Lit:

 • 2 books: The Grapes of Wrath and Crime & Punishment (1000 pages together). I have to do quote analysis for them.
 • Write Personal Statements for UC

Thank goodness there isn’t any for AP Calculus BC. But I have to study/take practice tests for ACT/SAT as well and (most likely) attending programs at UCLA. So busy…

^ Which branch do you go to for Elite? I was planning to attend the Arcadia branch but it doesn’t offer college essay workshop.

Nothing…

I go to a crap school. The district has made it a rule teachers cannot assign summer homework. It’s nice for me at least.

^^ Cerritos
Yeah you can just ask whoever manages the branch to assign you a college essay coach or something.

Plus the big IB Extended Essay. ya, not looking forward to that :(

4 books for AP lit with writeups

Forgot to add . .

Study like crazy for the SAT and PSAT. I’m going to do the Online Sat course.
