I'm transferring in the fall to UCLA and just got a housing offer to live in sunset village. If you could give me some personal opinions on whether or not thats a good place to live please let me know. I especially do not want to live with a whole bunch of freshman. Thanks!

You’ve probably been put in Delta Terrace. Great location, great place to be.

Delta Terrace is completely transfer housing next year, so the freshmen don’t have to worry about living near you.

I think sunset village is the best place to live. After sproul turnaround was closed down, getting picked up/dropped off was a little more difficult. But living in sunset gives you easier access to SV parking lot, so thats pretty nice.

I also very much prefer plazas compared to the dorms.

I think the rooms are much bigger in SV, but i can’t say for sure. I live in a double in canyon point, and since I had no roommate all year, the room always feels spacious to me. It may be different if there are 3 people living there though.

^^ “so the freshmen don’t have to worry about living near you”

lol.

I got into sunset village too… double…

I’m excited to move out.

there are always going to be pros and cons.
I think it will be easier to meet people and have study groups.

When i want some quiet study time im planning to go to the library.

ikd about you but my other option is to stay home, and my parents always distract me while im studying.

All UCLA dorms have some really stinky smell in the hallways.
