has anyone who’s been deferred receive a portal change before they found out they got deferred. cuz i never got a portal change when i was deferred and it seems like only people who receive portal changes get accepted and those who don’t get rejected or were deferred to RD.

My son got in EA and he doesn’t have a GPA that high, but Bing really loves our HS, so I think that is what helped him.

I think you will get in - that is a very high GPA! My son has the equivalent to about an 88 and got in EA.

I really hope to hear back soon. It would suck if they made us wait this long only to be rejected.

Same, no portal change when I was deffered. I think you’re right, only the accepted get a portal change.

That’s what I was thinking, why would they have waited this long 
 to reject? Every time I go down this road of trying to figure out what’s going on I just stop myself and say, just breathe and wait. I’m wondering how much more they will know by April 1, are they just going to wait list a whole group of people?Good luck everyone :slight_smile:

It might be hard this year to examine student’s academics because there are a lot of test optional students. Maybe this is why it’s taking so long!! Let’s hope for the best!

Did anyone get into the Source Project/Program at Binghamton? Does anyone know how many applicants they invite cuz the program only hs a maximum of 150 students?

I am kind of nervous at this point. I applied to Watson. I thought i had a strong GPA and I did well on the SAT but feel I prob would have been notified by now. I hop we have good news.
