I don’t think School of management sent one.
My son did receive the same email yesterday night for School of Management. I am instate.
Yes my in state daughter also received one from School of Management last night.
last night - again via SCOIR/school email (weird) got an email with a link to youtube video from president. it was an old video which left my kid unimpressed and led to a discussion about when there is a need/no need to “reinvent the wheel.” it was not like it was a video from the 1900s - (imagine)! I think it was about a year old. these kids are so spoiled with access to new content on the regular.

No update at all here. Applied during free week instate
no update here for my OOS student who applied 10/26.
I checked the EA board from last year and it looks like the in state acceptances started coming in around December 8th. Hold on my fellow NYers…almost there…

Just checked with son, school of management did send him an email same content no status change in application. So weird! It’s almost a tease.

I’m seriously considering having my son rethink his major it seems all the business schools are tough to get into even for high stat kids. I saw last year a lot of in state SOM kids with great stats denied. And most of the in state decisions weren’t even released into January.

I encouraged my D24 to apply undecided to Bing, as I think it would be an easier admit for her than Watson and there can still be a path to declaring later and (mostly) graduating on time. She is applying engineering at all other schools.
That said, still crickets from Bing for her.

I also had my S24 apply to Harpur thinking he could always transfer to som later if he wants. High stats oos and nothing here

I told my son if they deny him to Som but offer Harper he should consider it.

DS just accepted. In state. Applied prior to free week. NMSF, 97 gpa unweighted, 7 APs (can’t take until junior year) so basically strongest rigor available, pretty good activities. Harpur. Super excited.
