Hi everyone,

I have been accepted to both Stony Brook's and Buffalo's business schools. I've already sent in my deposit to Buffalo but now I am having second thoughts because Buffalo is so far from home (Long Island). How would you guys compare both the school's business schools as per reputation and job prospects. Both schools cost the same: $20,000 and my parents are paying the tuition so I will not be taking any loans. SO basically I want to go to a school that will provide me the best prospects after graduation for a successful career in banking.

My daughter is at SUNY Buffalo and was employed last summer by an engineering firm in San Diego. My daughter will be doing a fifth year in Electrical Engineering (it was recommended by her employer-that she take some computer science courses). We’re from southern California, so the distance is not an issue. SUNY’s aren’t well known in southern California but she impressed the company so much that they hired her after she finished her internship. She’s on their payroll for this summer as well. She worked with kids from UCLA, UCSD, UCI and she was the only one who was offered permanent employment. We don’t know anything about the business schools, but my daughter has been really happy at Buffalo, 3000 miles away!
