Super Double Dorm Room?

I am filling out my housing application for OSU and they offer something called "2 person super double occupancy." I have never heard of this and I searched all over and found nothing. Am I just an idiot for not knowing this? Can someone please tell me what a super double room is?

I’m making my best guess here, but I’m guessing it’s a double occupancy dorm room that’s larger than usual. Perhaps two people in a room size for three people or something like that.

I assume that they are more spacious because they are more expensive and there does not seem to be another general difference (there are suit-style, lost-style and regular superdoubles with and without a/c and private bath, but all of them are more expensive than doubles with fancy extras which are still more expensive than regular doubles)

I think you guys might be right about the size and cost. I just found out that those rooms are like $500 more each quarter than regular doubles. Thanks.

super means super pricey
and double means…well you know what it means

I had one freshman year. It’s simply a room that is bigger than the traditional two person room. At my school, they eliminated all of the triples and converted them into doubles, and that’s how we got super doubles. The cost is slightly higher than a standard double, but I don’t it’s too much more. The larger room is great for having people come over and hanging out.
