Superscoring question

So I took the June SAT and made a 2030 (640M, 640 CR, 750W 8E). As I'm REALLY hoping to increase my math and cr scores, I don't know whether I should study writing all that much. Since all of the colleges that I'm looking at (Boston College, USC, BU, reach school Princeton) superscore the SAT, I'm wondering if it is in my best interest to study writing. Obviously I still have room for improvement, but is it worth it to put all that time into studying for an extra 10 or 20 points (assuming I get my score up)? Am I just better off putting almost all of my time into studying math and cr? I really feel like I can make a 700+ on both of them if I put effort into it.

One more question: If my writing score decreased, would colleges really care if they superscore?

Thanks

The strategy you propose is correct. Focus on Math and CR. If you have extra time work on improving your essay score.

There is no point or value in second guessing colleges in regard to superscoring. If they say they superscore, take it at face value that they do so without prejudicing your application.

Thank you, fogcity.
