According to Smith admissions (web site and letter), the Smith supplement was not received. However, both the Common App and Supplement were sent on-line and the common app site shows that both were sent and downloaded.

I guess it's time for dd to call Smith, but doesn't this seem odd?

Well, do call Smith. But in my experience, there was a lag between when docs were received, when they were filed, and when they were logged as being received/filed. If I had to guess, this phenomenon correlates heavily with just who is working work-study in the Smith admissions office at a given hour/day/week.

the same thing happened to me. i received a letter about my missing supplement on friday, checked the common application website and it said i had submitted it. definitely call smith. i did, and i was told that they had just entered the data the day after they had sent the notification. i hear they're about 2 weeks behind. good luck!

This is a pretty typical complaint or concern. Same thing happened to my D a year ago. Worry not, however, there is transition as to when records are received and filed. If you're not sure, call admissions.
