So I’m a little bit new to the college process and this site, but just had a quick question. For semi-selective colleges (30/40%) acceptance rate, how many supplemental essays do you usually have to do? Do they usually take long?
well, depends. I am applying to Babson which has a 28% acceptance rate. It requires two supplemental essays: one has to be maximum 100 words, another one has to be maximum 500 words long.
It depends on the school. Some places like Colby don’t have essays at all. It is mostly dependent on where you apply. Average range of supplements goes from 1-3. The length of these supplements is a wide variable too.
