Supreme Court to hear case against affirmative action?

<p>About time...</p>

<p>This is why the Department of Education needs to go. Federal aid should not be provided to public universities - the money should be given to states in the form of a block grant with no strings attached. Because when the Federal government gets involved this is what happens - now you have 9 justices in DC deciding the admissions policy at hundreds of public universities throughout the country. It’s just not right.</p>

<p>The University of Anchorage is not the same as the University of Montana, or the University of North Carolina or the University of Rhode Island, etc. etc. and to force them to comply by the same policies through a federal mandate is completely uncalled for!</p>
