<p>I applied for the business school but got into DGS. Is there any chance that I can switch school after me being there for like a year or two?</p>

<p>You will have one opportunity to transfer to business, at end of first year and decisions are made after second semester grades are released. Will need to take certain courses that business freshman usually take (rhetoric, math, economics, complete any language requirements if not already completed, possibly others) and have a minimum 3.0 GPA. However, to have a real chance you should assume you need at least 3.5 and it usualy takes only about 50% of the transfer applicants and having a 4.0 is no guarantee of transfer.</p>
<p>Rules and probabilty for transfer into other colleges and majors in those colleges vary but you can transfer anytime after first year (you can actually apply during second semester Freshman year for decison into sophomore year and if not accepted then you can actually apply later). As long as grades are good probability of being able to transfer are high.</p>
