Switching Major to Graphic Design

So for about a month I’ve been debating switching my major. At my school, we have an Bachelors in Fine Arts with an Emphasis on Graphic Design, not an actual Graphic Design degree. Currently, I’m in the Computer Science program, and for the most part I like it, but programming is really draining for me and I probably would not want to become a programmer, but rather something with customer service. Anyways, Graphic design really peaked my interest a month ago, and if I could have any dream job in the world, it would be to own my own T-shirt/clothing company, and logos and designs really interest me. What I’m getting to, is if I should switch my major to The Bachelors in Fine Arts and then get a minor in Computer Science. Can someone help me? I’m a sophomore, so I don’t think it’s to late to do this, if it’s a good idea that is.

Being a designer with some programming skills would be a good background. My only thought is that you said graphic design peaked your interest only a month ago - why? Do you have some related experience to know if it’s something you really want to do?

I can remember designing logos in middle school, and my dream job would be to have a clothing company. I love the design process and seeing the finished product.
