I recently was accepted to Syracuse, and was selected to receive (apparently) the highest form of automatic merit aid of $12,000 a year. I was invited to apply for the Coronat Scholarship, but I was not selected as a finalist. I am wondering if any one else had experience with appealing/asking for more Syracuse financial aid? For example, do they consider other college’s offers? Anything would be appreciated, thanks!!

Same boat too. Receiving $12000 per year scholarship is nice, but tuition and room & board is $56000 plus $3000 for books and personal and travel. $47000 per year is not affordable to us.
