@triton6346 - Good question. I heard some people (on the Syracuse RD board) got emails on Friday. We got an email yesterday (in response to a question we asked) saying that everyone on the wait list would be told after June 1.
@Fergie978 - I suppose that’s “as good as it can get” kind of info, but there’s so much evidence to the contrary. Especially when I looked through some of the posts from the class of 2021 thread. Maybe that’s everyone will hear something; admit or reject, off the wl by that date.
We were waitlisted to mt too. They actually accept a little over 40 with the hopes of 22-23 accepted. Wonder if they get through the other 20 out of the 40 first before they move to wait list??
@momarco - Yes, that sounds about right (that they would accept double what they expect!) Did you call them and ask them how many people accepted this year? I know of a student last year that got off the wait list and was accepted. So…who knows!
Has anyone heard anything today?
Nothing. I thought there would be a flurry of acceptances today.
This is so stressful!!!
I emailed them earlier in the week. I was politely told that all waitlist candidates would receive their status after June 1.
'Til next Friday…
@orangefan33,@fergie978, @cuse2022 and @daisy33 would u mind saying which schools u were wait listed to? Thx.
@resnick my daughter was waitlisted Newhouse (applied RD).
@daisy33. My son was also waitlisted to Newhouse. He applied ED and was deferred.
My D was waitlisted College of Arts and Science.

Has anyone heard anything about movement on the waitlist?? Ty
We have not heard yet my son was waitlisted for Newhouse.
@collegemom38 and @resnick I’m so sorry - my daughter is waitlisted for Newhouse as well. Did either of your sons put down 2nd/3rd choices? She did, and also the 'let the admissions committee decide where to put you" option on Common App. I thought she might be admitted to VPA Communication and Rhetorical Studies as an alternative.
My son put down Arts and Science as his second choice. Idk about third choice.
My son also put down arts and science as his second choice.
