@nyc121‌ what major did you apply for?

@nyc121‌ did your myslice acct get updated as well, or just the email?

Hey guys! Syracuse is my top choice and I’m very nervous about getting in. I’m in all honors and AP but my freshman year I only had one honors class because my 8th grade teachers but I still have a GPA of 90.2 unweighted along with being in the 13th percentile of my class. I will finish off high school with 6 APs; language and comp, literature and comp, calc AB, stats, physics, and Euro History. Along with classes, I am the secretary of my class, a “peer leader”, sports broadcaster, NHS, DECA, and I have a lot of community service hours from coaching 3 different basketball teams; one 7th grade team, one 8th grade team, and one 5th grade team. In high school I have played baseball, basketball, and soccer at varsity level and I was the captain of the soccer team this year. My SAT score is 1,860 with a math score of 670, reading 600, and writing 590. I’m applying for the Newhouse school, what do you guys think my chances are?

People who got in, did you apply early like October/November or closer to the deadline?

I applied in October but I don’t think that made a difference. @trollhunter1‌

@turtleneck7‌ Have you received an acceptance?

@trollhunter1‌ Yes. Accepted to Newhouse/Whitman Dual Program

To those accepted, when did you apply? Congrats btw

I applied like a day before the deadline

@lenayd wow you heard back that fast?! Was there anything in your application that clearly made you stand out? Congratulations!!

Did anyone that was already accepted apply to engineering?

@engineering2015‌ I have a high GPA/ high sats if that made any difference lol

Did you guys hear back through email or myslice?

Email

Now I just want to know, not sure if I like this random email thing or releasing them all at the same time more.
