I have got admitted by both graduate school. I am seeking my master's degree in finance. It's not MBA and both school have great aspects. I cann't make decision. Please give me your pros/cons. Thank you!

such as reputation/network in business field
academic
employment after graduation..

If the tuition doesn't count, which business school is better? please try to specify whether the comments are about MBA or MSF.

What is your ultimate goal? Syracuse has revamped their MSF program and the professor driving it is great. Buffalo has a good program also, but if your goal is to work after your MSF I would go with Syracuse simply because of the stronger alumni base.

I have both programs listed on my website.

Is it really? I’ve been looking at their supply chain programs and they are a school that has popped up. Deadline to apply is Jan 1st though so I better make a decision.

Ok, I am going to give you guys the low down.

I went to Syracuse for my UG and tried to do my MSF there. I eventually went to Villanova instead.

Syracuse is a great school, around 38-40 in the nation for business schools. Not too bad. On campus recruiting is mainly F500 firms, but there are a TON of alumni on the street.

With that said, I think there are currently better options. Yildiray Yildirim is heading up the MSF program now and it is full steam a head. They are working on incorporating the CFA L1 into the program (which I think is a good idea). There are a bunch of other things I would like to see them do, but I have not had the chance to talk to him yet.
