Take AP Calc AB and BC same year?

My school this year decided to be very generous and pay for everyone's AP exams. The only thing is you HAVE to take an AP exam if you took the class for it.
Here's the problem. My school only offers up to Calc AB, and I took it this year. I do, however, want to self study for Calc BC and take that exam. This means that I'm FORCED to take the Calc AB test because of my school, when I want to take the BC test. Now, the exams are the same date and the same time. Is it possible to take both exams, perhaps Calc AB on the regular date and Calc BC via late testing? Or is it extremely frowned upon by CollegeBoard that it isn't possible?

you can’t take both tests… the BC test has an AB subscore anyway

You could just take the AB course then self study for the BC exam. There’s only like one third of it or something that’s different from AB. That one third is probably much harder though.

You’re not allowed to take both AB and BC tests in the same year (that’s why they schedule it like that).

Did they say they will pay for you if you don’t take the class? The answer will likely be no, so ask whether or not you can take the AB class and the BC exam. The reason schools may mandate taking the exam along with the course is not b/c of CB but to keep funding I think.
