take both physics C tests or just one?

<p>So I am taking physics C right now, and I don't feel too confident in the class. I really don't want to take both the mechanics and EM test, I would rather just want to take one or the other.</p>

<p>So will colleges (ivies, stanford, etc.) look down on me if I only take one the two available tests? I would rather get a 5 on one test, than a 4 and 3 if I took both tests. BTW I am not concerned with racking up college credits, just want to be admitted to the schools.</p>

<p>If you don’t feel too confident, then definitely take only the Mechanics test, since that is a lot easier than being able to master the EM material. By the way, Ivies don’t really care whether you are taking the AP tests or not. They just care about your grade in the class. Are you a junior? If you are, I would be a lot more worried about my grade in the class, rather than the AP exam, since you are applying to top schools.</p>
