Taking a course outside of my major

I'm a philosophy major who is trying to look for upper division classes that I would like to take outside of my major, as you need to take two of em for the L & S requirements.

The classes that I am most interested in for this would be psychology classes. But when I look at the psych classes, I see this message a lot:

course restrictions

This course has no restrictions at the coursewide level.

Seats have been reserved for:

 1. Students with a major of Psychology and Students with a class level of Senior or Junior or Sophomore (Open)

Does this mean that (1)the seats are reserved for people who are BOTH a psych major AND a junior or sophomore? Or does this mean that (2)you can be EITHER a psych major OR an upperclassman?

In other words, can I as a junior philosophy major take these psych classes?

yes u can take them, it says “AND” meaning that its for either psych major or upper classmen
