Taking a summer course to meet condition of admission

Hi folks,

I have been accepted as a transfer student in UCB

The people that know work in admissions at UC Berkeley. Everyone posting here is just guessing at what they’ll say in response to your particular circumstances. Maybe they’ve done it for someone else and won’t for you, maybe they didn’t for someone else and will for you.

^^^ ditto what @mikemac says.

Hi folks,

I have been accepted as a transfer student in UCB, but I could not meet the following condition in spring 2019.

GPA for all planned and in-progress courses must be higher than 3.

One of the solution to meet condition I suggest is taking a summer course. If I finish a 4 unit course with A grade, I can meet the condition above. The reason why I could not meet the condition is that I was taking 17 units, leading a study group under a professor and working at a restaurant for three days a week.

My question is how much chance I have if I finish a summer course with A grade. Does UC Berkeley admission consider the reason above is appropriate to give me a chance to get in there?

Thanks
