Taking a W in a class

So my daughter’s major is Social Work but she is transferring schools for Spring 2019 and switching majors to teaching.

So her social work class is online and the teachers tests are hard. Today my daughter took a test and the computer shuff off without finishing. She was not out of time. So if she ends with around a B in this class her grade would be a C due to teachers crazy grading. A 97 is an A. So she is thinging on taking a W for this class as she is changing majors. She has 16 credit hours so it wont affect financial aid. The teacher is not very friendly either.

Would it matter if she took a W? She is a sophomore and has never taken anyway. Would like opinions please??? Just want to make sure it wont look bad on her transcript to the school she is transferring.

I don’t think one W would be a problem.

One W won’t hurt her. Is she still in the time where she can withdraw? If so, she can go ahead and do that without worries.

1 W - no problem.

A pattern of them? problem.

@RoaringMice Yes, believe she has to the end of this month. Thanks for feedback.
