So yes.
Our school offers 12 AP classes for juniors and seniors (none for sophomores)
I can at this time take 11 (Im not going to be eligible for French if I don't take a summer course)
Clearly I plan on getting As in them but I also spend a lot of time on ECs. Track is everyday till 5 from January till may
And if I do swimming it will be from October till February then Ill do track.
On top of that I'll have volunteering and other things (lessons other ECs you know)
Personally I'm not very good at sports I just feel better if I do them.
Do colleges really care about mediocre athletes anyway?
So my problem is will I still be able to keep up with ECS and take 6-7 APs a year?
From your experience at least

Nopeeeeeeeeeeee

See this is what I don’t understand. If you have a lot of ECs, and you spend a lot of time on them, how do have the time to do homework for 6-7 AP classes? Either your classes are ridiculously easy and don’t give any homework, you don’t sleep at all, or you will end up failing them all (most likely option… at least at my school).

Awwh hell nae

If your school is extraordinarily easy, though, I guess its possible.

If you’re insanely masochistic LOL.

And I don’t think they care about mediocre athletics. My cousin was on JV soccer and was fairly bad at golf (he shot in the 90’s at some competitions LOL), and he didn’t even take all of the APs his school offered. He’s Asian.

He got into Stanford~

Exactly.

And I feel bad for the people who even try, because they’re missing out on so much and they’re making themselves horribly unhappy.

only if you’re asian

^
Hah I’m not sure I managed to get my actual question across
You were supposed to tell me it was imperative to quit sports
I thought about that actually if I’m done by 6 (which I normally am) Id have 4hrs to do homework.
How much do you have on average with APs?
Im having a hard time figuring out how that’s not possible, I can totally not go online after school

If you can seriously start working at 6, then that’s pretty good. 6-7 APs is a lot, but you have about 4-6 hours, depending on when you go to bed. However, I find it unlikely that with two sports, volunteering and other ECs, you’ll be available to start homework at 6 everyday.

/dying cat noises/
That’s true. I knew you were going to say that
But it won’t be 2 sports at once
//wants to do an internship and sees issues with this//
WHY CANT THERE BE MORE HOURS!?!?
Now I do suppose I have to chose…
Being eligible for top 10 or sports?
