I am a high schooler in WA state. Our state has a special program called Running Start where highschool juniors and seniors can take college classes at a community college nearby. They can do part time so they are at the high school and college or full time and get their AA.

I am currently doing Running Start and have a 4.0 (I have only taken 3 classes at the college) at the college.
My high school GPA is a 3.5. I have done multiple extra curr. and take some challenging courses.
I also am looking to shine the most in the application essay colleges make you right because I will talk about my experiences traveling to other countries and living in Ireland and going to school there my 8th grade year.

I want to get into colleges like UW or Penn State. Big, well-known schools.

Do I have a good chance at getting into a good/big university because I am taking college classes at a community college and because of life long experiences I have out of school?
