I was just wondering about taking the GMAT.
I will start applying to masters programs starting next summer, so I will definitely take the GMAT next summer.
However, I do want to take one this summer for experience and to have it as a starting ground to prepare for the next year.
On the flip side, I don't want to risk getting a low score since I am not 100% prepared.
What do you suggest? Do MBA/MAcc programs look at every GMAT score or just consider your highest? Is it worth risking a lower-than-optimal score for the experience?
Thanks

Why don’t you just take a practice exam. Make sure to have someone time it, or time it yourself. I don’t see why you need to risk having a lower score when you are not 100% prepared. A practice exam should be sufficient.

The test is $250. I would suggest doing practice tests as well and save yourself a lot of money.
