Taking the two times prescheduled?

I am a junior and I am currently studying for the SAT. I am curious to see if people would recommend taking the test two times, once in May and again in June. This way, I provide more opportunities for myself to maximize my score. I have a few questions regarding my original question: would I get the scores for the May test before the June test? Do colleges, namely UC's, see that I took the score two times? If so, to what extent do they have access to my records? Can they see how well I did on the first test?

Thanks for the help.

BTW, I know I will be flamed a bit for asking this question as I will be deemed obsessive, but I am really just trying to maximize my score. If it takes two times, I am willing to devote time between the first and second test to studying.

Yes you should be able to see your May scores (scores are released May 22, 2008, the test in June is June 7)

Yes, colleges will see all your scores, SAT and SATII; you cannot pick and choose which scores to send to them. That said, typically they will only consider your highest scores.

Have you taken your SAT IIs yet? If not, I would recommend taking those at least once during your junior year; avoid testing in your senior year if you can (you'll be busy/stressed enough as it is)
