Talking to a UCLA Rep(Need to).

Hello, first time poster, so if I posted this in the wrong place, my apologizes.

Well, I went and talked to a counselor yesterday. She took out the IGETC Advising Form, everything seemed fine besides a single issue, could be a major issue could be something simple to fix. I did most of my JC in the LACC system,(Pierce, Los Angeles Mission, Los Angeles Valley, West Los Angeles). All of these school's are basically under a single umbrella system. I took English 102 at West Los Angeles City College because it was online and worked with my schedule. It was a grueling class but I got my A. What I come to find out, English 102 at West Los Angeles College does not fall under the English Communications like it does with LAVC,Piece,Mission and so on.... This leaves me with missing an English Communications B missing. I can't take 102 at these other school's since I have already taken it. My counselor told me a couple options, either take English 103 or Philos 5, or talk to a UCLA rep so I can get a "transfer partial INGETCS cert". It's nearly impossible to find these classes now since school is going to start in a short few weeks. Now my question is, do I go to UCLA to talk to a rep or is there another step? My applications will basically go out in a short few months, and I want this to be resolved, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

E-mail admissions with your question and see how they respond.

Couple schools have English 103 avaliable Los Angeles city, south west and mission

Whoa that is so weird hearing that. If those schools are in the same LACCD district, why would they confuse the subjects and classes? I really recommend you taking eng 103. I remember when I was taking eng 101 at lacc, a professor told everyone to take 103 because we would have to take it at an university. I recommend Kendall at LACC (Online or in person) for 103.
